i m pursuing MCA(Master Of Computer Application) .i will pass out in April next year.
I want to know what types of job we can get in Government Sector.

Best is Bank exam you can try it out that friend, for you it will be very easy to clear , because question will be based upon the the aptitude, general knowledge and English Question . check it out this attachment. Best of friend.

you can also try the administration exam ,that also very help full for your jobs.....

I think you can apply almost every sector of government.
u can get jobs in differ sectors like
1.banking sector.
2.railway sector.
3.telephone(bsnl)sector
4.state electricty board
etc.

Put your efforts into it, you will definitely get the job.

today computer is an essentia; for everyone.in this time various gavernment sectors use wxpert and qualified computer personnel.such as banking sectors,railway sectors,telecommunication authority,electricity board etc.

MCA students can apply for various government jobs, some of them are the following:

1. Teaching line- U can be a post graduate teacher in kendriya vidyalaya sangathan or can serve as a lecturer or teacher in other government schools and colleges.

2. Banking Sector- U can apply for the job of probationary officer in various government banks.

3. Armed forces- If u want to serve the nation. u can apply in armed forces of india.

4. Civil Services- u can apply for IAS IPS.

5. RRB- this is railway recruitment board, u can also apply for the various posts in India Railway.

As a post graduate student you are eligible for most of the government services examination or you can say civil services examination. For most of the civil services examination minimum educational qualification required is to be Graduation or Post Graduation degree in the respective field. Minimum educational qualification may furthure varied according to type of job/service.

Next year you are going to be Post Graduate, then you may appear for the following services examination.

SSC Examination

CDSE Examination

IAS Examination

UPSC Civil services examination

NET/TET Examiantion

Bank recruitment examination

IPS Examination

Indian Audit and Account services Group 'A'

Indian Postal Services Examination Group 'A'

Indian Information Services Examination Group 'A'

Armed Forces Headquarters Civil Services Examination Group 'B'

Like this there a few more services examination for which most of the post graduate and graduate students can appear. As you are in final year/semester of your studies then you may apply provisionaly for some examination.

You have many opportunities in Government Sector as well as in private sector, so don't worry about this be prepare for examination & interview.
