I have a Domicile Certificate which was issued in the year 2015. Can anybody confirm me whether it is valid for lifetime or it comes with any expiry? Do I need to renew every year?

Validity of Domicile Certificate varies from state to state. If your domicile certificate is temporary then it will generally valid upto 1 year (in most of the states).

While if the domicile certificate is permanent, then it will be valid for upto 5 years (as followed in many states of India).

It has expiry ,which differs from state to state .
