Default Re: What are the ways to get through SSB Interview?

SSB stands for the Service Selection Board. It is a bit tough to crack as compared to the written test.

It is 4-5 days test consisting of different stages like:

First day is the Screening test, it consists of questions from logical reasoning, quantitative aptitude and picture perception test.

If you clear the first day, you will be eligible for next four days of tests. So for screening test working on the areas mentioned above. Be fluent in speaking, donot hesitate and represent yourself with good ideology.

Day 2 consists of psychological tests like Word Association test, Picture story writing, Situation Reaction test, Self Description test etc.

So proper practice on these areas is needed to get through these tests.

Day 3 and 4 consists of GTO tests like group discussion, group planning exercise, half group tasks, command task, final group tasks etc.

Day 5 is Conference and Personal interview tests.

Important points to be kept in mind:

Show what you are throughout the five days test. SSB is just to analyze the complete personality of a candidate whether he is able to become officer or not . They judge your posture, gesture, the way you talk, perform in group, your leadership qualities, ability to lead from front.

Be humble and show less attitude, represent yourself as an ideal officer of defense. Keep your points while hearing others also in group discussion. Do not tell lie, shout etc.

Some of the academies like Baalnoi Academy, Pathfinder, Minerva academy give coaching classes for Service Selection Board. The fees is Rs 10000-11000 for 15 days tests. They will make you aware of everything that happens in SSB.

Coaching classes are run by retired officers of Service Selection Board, so they will teach you what to do and what not to do in SSB for getting selected.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
