Salary depends on the company you join- government, public, private.
However, B. Tech professional freshers earn minimum around Rs. 120000 - 300000 in any part of the country.

Salary also depends on your skills, the way you give the interview and the way you negotiate your salary together with you choose your profession i.e teaching, government organisation, research sectors, public sectors, private sectors etc.

In some point of time as far as professional life is concerned, percentage does not make much difference, it is only important when you start you professional career. Choices are various, salary is different but commitment and dedication remains the same if you want to excel in life.

I would also like to point out that if you complete your Master's your job prospect would be more.
