Incepted in 1997, Punjab Technical University has been climbing the ladder of success with a speed unseen before. It has 288 colleges under its affiliation and offers a variety of courses ranging from engineering to management and even pharmacy. The number of students studying at Punjab technical University is close to 3 lakhs. The University has been making sure that a new crop of students who are thorough in technical aspects walk out of their campus.

Digital electronics is an important subject which is offered to 4th semester B. tech. students who are graduating in ECE.

Division of Paper:

Digital Electronics is about logic gates, Boolean functions, combinational and sequential circuits. This subject is useful because many electronic equipments work using digital electronics. The paper contains a maximum mark of 60 and a student is given 3 hours to complete the paper. It is divided into 3 sections.

Paper Pattern and Marking Scheme:

Section A contains 10 compulsory short answer type questions which carry 2 marks each. Section B has 5 questions. A students need to answer any 4 of them. The questions are descriptive type and each of them contains 5 marks each. Section C has 3 questions out of which a student need to attempt any 2 of his choice. They contain 10 marks each and consist of 2-3 sub questions.
