From June 2012 onwards, the format of the National Eligibility Test is only going to change but as far as the syllabus is concerned, it is supposed to remain the same.

As per the new format, Paper III will now comprise of objective type questions instead of descriptive type questions as it previously did. Paper I and Paper II as usual, will comprise of objective type questions too.
