How to prepare for NET exam after completing PG in Botany? Syllabus for the same?
Respected Sir, I want to prepare for net exam & I completed my P.G.in Botany Please send me syllabus & other related information

Hi,
NET stands for National Eligibility Test. NET exam conducted by the University Grant commission. This exam will conducte by the award of Junior Research Fellowship(JRF) and also for eligibility into Lecture ship. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: The candidate should be citizen of india. The candidate must have complete the post graduation from any recognized university. The candidate must have to score a minimum of 55% of marks in the post graduation course to eligible for this exam. Relaxation is there in percentage of marks upto 5% for the sc/st categories. There is no upper age limit for the candidate Lecture ship. But the JRF candidates the age limit is there. The age limit should be between 19 to 28 years. NET eligibility criteria:-
For giving UGC NET u need to have a master Degree. You can choose any subject from your master degree.UGC NET consists of three papers 1) General studies (50 objective questions) 2) Your optional paper (50 objective questions) 3) Your optional paper (Subjective questions) For Junior research fellowship the age limit is 28 yrs and there is no upper age limit for lectureship.
