If i passed in the compartmental (supplementary) of 10+2 CBSE board with the 50% aggregate as required for appearing in CLAT exam, will i still b able to appear?

And can i otherwise appear for CLAT in +3 arts 1st year?

Common Law Admission Test (CLAT), is a centralised test for admission to National Law Schools in India.It is conducted by 14 National Law Schools/Universities for admissions to their under-graduate and post graduate degree programmes (LL.B & LL.M)


Eligibility


To be eligible to appear in CLAT-2012, a candidate should have obtained a Senior Secondary School/Intermediate (10+2) or its equivalent qualification from a recognised Board with not less than 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of SC/ST/OBC and PWD). Candidates who have appeared in the 10+2 examination and are awaiting results are also eligible to appear in the test.o Age of candidate should not be more than 20 years in case of General/OBC candidates (22 years in case of SC/ST and persons with Disability)as on 1st July, 2012.

OR
The candidate must have passed the qualifying examination at the time of his/her admission and be able to submit its proof.
Subject to State reservation at the University concerned.

To be eligible for appearing in CLAT-2012, a candidate should have obtained a LL.B/B.L. Degree or an equivalent degree from a recognised University with not less than 55% marks in aggregate (50% in case of SC/ST /OBC and persons with Disability)

CLAT - COMMON LAW ADMISSION TEST is an entrance exam conducted by top Law Institutes in India for admission to Five years Integrated Law Degree.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR CLAT:-

-The candidate must be an Indian Citizen
-Should have either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board with at least 50% marks(45% for SC/ST candidate).
-Should be within the age of 20 years

If you have passed 12th with 50% marks within the age of 20 years, you will be eligible to apply for CLAT. No matter you pass 12th CBSC Board with compartment or through regular.

To apply for this CLAT Examination, the candidate should complete your 12Th Standard (or) Equivalent Examination in any discipline from recognized University .

The Candidate should score not less than 50% marks and If you belong from sc/st candidate than relaxation will applicable for 5% Percentage of marks .

The candidate age should not be more than 20 Years and Upper age relaxation will applicable for sc/st candidates .

CLAT stands for Common Law Admission Test. This exam conducted by Seven Law Institute of India.

Eligibility:

You should pass the 12th standard from any recognized state board of India.

You should pass the min 55% of marks in 12th standard.

12th standard incomplete candidates are not eligible.

You should be citizen of India.

Yes,if you get failed in previous exam and you have passed in supplementary exam,then also you will be eligible to appear in the CLAT(Common Law Admission Test) Exam.
As you meet the minimum educational qualification,thus you can appear in this exam and you can apply for it.

After giving the compartment exam and successfully getting the pass marks you can sit for the CLAT Exam. While you are in the first year then also you can give the exam but what needs to be remembered is for the LLB course the upper age limit is 20 years for general category candidates. Your age should not exceed the upper age limit by any chance.

For students interested in studying law, CLAT is the ideal exam. Be it LLB or LLM both can be pursued by giving this exam. Fourteen National Law Universities takes part in this exam and every year each university in turn conducts the exam. This year Hidayatullah National Law University, Raipur (HNLU) is conducting the exam.

As you know already that to sit for the CLAT exam you need to successfully complete the HS exam or its equivalent from a recognized board. In addition to that you need to get minimum 50% of marks at 10+2 level.

If you are a SC/ST/OBC or physically handicapped candidate then you need to secure 45% of marks at 10+2 level. Even final year students can also appear for this exam.

For General and OBC candidates the upper age limit is 20 years. For SC/ST candidates there is upper age limit. For them the upper age limit is 22 years. For persons with disability too the upper age limit is also 22 years.

There will be a total of 200 questions of 200 marks. So each question will carry one mark. The total duration of the exam is two hours. It should be noted that earlier there was no negative marking as such. But from now onward for every wrong answer you give 0.25 marks will be deducted from your original score.

Give importance to the following areas: English including Comprehension, General Knowledge/ Current Affairs, Elementary Mathematics (Numerical Ability), Legal Aptitude and Logical Reasoning.
