To get a job in software industry you should be qualified with B.sc.,mca,BE,b.tech in computer science.
You should achieve minimum 65 % marks.
Good companies looks for the the candidate with 65% marks
but no problem if you get marks less than 60.There afte after you can get good job.
You can also get job in government sector like isro,drdo,Bhaba,bsnl,mtnl,ongc etc.

pass the 12th with minimum 45% in pcm group

Then their are various entrance exams like
pet- pre engineering test
AIEEE- all india engineering entrance exam
BITS
IIT
qualify any of this entrance .
after that choose comp engineering orI.T engineering for b.tech

after completion of four yr of b.tech you can do jobs in software companies as software engineer..

For becoming a software engineer you should get a degree in COMPUTER SCIENCE from a recognized university with a minimum of 60% marks.
The ssc and inter marks has nothing to do with the job of Software engineer;
To enter into a Software company you really should develop Good skills in your core subjects;
You should be a good programmer; Your computer proficiency should be high;
Minimum languages like C,C++,Java,Oracle etc should be well known;
You must be well equipped with OS....

Dear Aspirant,

The eligibility criteria for becoming a software engineer are as follows:

• Should be a graduate from a recognized university or college.
  
• Should be a post graduate from a recognized university or college for some senior level posts.
  
• Should have 65% in all the main exams like 10th , 12th ,UG and PG.
  
• Should have good knowledge in the basics of the programming languages.
  
• Should have the minimum aptitude and reasoning knowledge.
  
• Should have the logical thinking and the ability to understand quickly.
  
• Should have the adaptability factor.

By above things a student can become a good software engineer and have a great career.

THERE IS NO NEED OF CHECKING PERCENTAGE IN SOFTWARE JOBS BUT THE NEED THING IS THE SUBJECT OF CONTENT THAT YOU HAVE ND ALSO ON SECOND THINKING THEY USED TO VERIFY YOUR PERCENTAGEND ITS MINIMUM IS ABOVE 70% Dude.
