The full form of DAV is Dayanand Anglo-Vedic.

The acronym DAV in India stands for the Dayanand Anglo Vedic.It is one of the school systems .

>>It is considered to be the largest non governmental education society in India.It is based on the ideals of religious and social reformer Swami Dayanand Saraswati.

At present it manages 667 institutions out of which 461 are high school level institutions with and annual budget over 2 billion rupees.

The schools are run by the Dayanand Anglo Vedic College trust and Management society.

Motto of DAV is : Asata Maa Sadgamaya

It is also providing undergraduate and post graduate courses and has affiliation from ICSE,CBSE,and various universities.

The best thing about the DAV is that it has produced the maximum no of toppers from the CBSE board for last 10 years.
