Eligibility for admission:

For the UG courses offered by the institute, candidates must have completed their 10+2 with physics, mathematics and chemistry. For the PG engineering courses, students must be bachelor’s degree holders in engineering in appropriate discipline. For MBA course, candidates can be graduates in any discipline. For MCA course, candidates must be BCA graduates or graduates in any other discipline with subjects like quantitative techniques/statistics/mathematics. They can also be postgraduate diploma holders in any branch of computer science/application or candidates must have studied computer science/computer applications as a subject at their 10+2 level.

Admission Procedure:

DAV Institute admits students to the different branches of the B. Tech course based on their performance in the Common Entrance Examination conducted by Punjab Technical University and the AIEEE examination conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Examination. For M. Tech courses admission is made on merit basis by the Punjab Technical University. Admission to the MBA course is done based on MET test conducted by Punjab Technical University/GNDU.
