UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) is going to conduct NDA Exam twice a year. One can join to Army wing, Navy wing and Air Force wing by successful cracking of this exam.

For this academic year, both the NDA Exams were over. So, it is not possible for you to appear for NDA Exam this year.

If you are interested to appear for NDA Exam, you can appear for any of the NDA Exams of upcoming year.

Here I am providing you the important dates regarding the upcoming NDA Exam. Have a look at it.

Date of commencement of notification : 31-12-2011
Last date to receive the completed application forms : 30-01-2012
Date of Exam : 15-04-2012.

Have good preparation from now itself and crak the exam. Good time is there fot the commencement of exam. Make your preparation complete without any bias.

National Defense Academy (NDA) exam is conducted by upsc twice in a year to intake qualified Candidate for different department in Defense service like Indian Airforce, Indian Navy,Indian Army etc.

Eligibility criteria for NDA-I/NDA-II exam:
Education qualification: Minimum candidate should complete 12th class with PCM stream.
Age Limit: Age should be between 16 1/2 to 19 years.
Citizenship: Indian

Important dates for NDA-2012:
NDA-I exam:
Issue of application form from 31st Dec 2011 to 30th Jan 2012.
Exam will held on 15th April 2012.
NDA-II exam:
Issue of application form from 5th May 2012 to 4th June 2012.
Exam will held on 19th Aug 2012.

Getting into NDA is considered highly prestigious. Admissions are conducted twice a year, ones in April and then in October. It starts with a written test followed by interview rounds and also group tasks and medical examination. Every year thousands of candidates apply for NDA exams and this number is increasing year after year. This makes the exam more competitive for the candidates and difficult to clear it.

National Defence Academy Examination was conducted by the UPSC twice in a year.

The candidate can join to army wings,navy wings and Air force course by the cracking the examination.

This year examination was already completed and So you can not apply for the examination.If you are interested apply for the examination in next session.

so you can apply by post after purchase a form from post office after pay RS.30/- with 100 CRPT ticket. and also apply online just click on www.upse.gov.in after pay online.
before apply you have to sure 12th passed with PCM and age between 16.5 to 19 year only for male.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR NDA EXAM

Those candidate have completed their 12th standard are eligible for NDA exam.

But your age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years.

Only unmarried male candidate are applicable.

SELECTION PROCEDURE FOR NDA EXAM:-

1) Written test which is conducted by UPSC.

2)Personal Interview.

NDA Application Forms

The NDA (National Defence Academy) Exam is conducted twice every year by the UPSC..once in the month of April and the other in the month of August..

The NDA (1) exam for 2012 is going to be conducted on 15th April,2012..

The forms shall be available in your nearby post office or book depots from 30th December,2011 and the last date for form submission is 30th January,2012..

The minimum eligibility criteria one should fulfill for appearing in the exam is :-

1) You should be a 12th pass out (with Physics,Chemistry and Maths if you want to join the Air Force or Navy)

2) You should be within the age limit of 16.5-19 years

You should also be physically fit and should have a perfect eyesight..

Eligibility for Indian Army :
1:You should pass 12(10+2)th or its equivalent from State Board / Universities. you can also apply as appearing for 12th examination.

2:Marital Status:Unmarried

3:Sex :Male.

4:Age Limit : Between 16.5 and 19.

5:Nationality:
You have to be A citizen of India, or
subject of Bhutan, or
subject of Nepal, or
Tibetan refugee .

Application Forms are published in any leading newspapers during March or April every year and entrance examination to be held by the UPSC six months later from the application form is published.

The UPSC (NDA) exam is conducted twice a year (April and October)in all major cities throughout India.

Each year course start twice January and July.

Selection Procedure: National Defence Academy selects the candidates in three phases :

i)A written examination by the Union Public Service Commission(UPSC).
ii)An interview by the Service Selection Board(SSC) to check the potentialities Intelligence and personality.
iii)A medical examination by a Service Medical Board(SMB).

The written examination is of two papers of all objective type questions.
i)Mathematics of 2.5 hours maximum number 300 including Arithmetic, Mensuration, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Statistics.

ii)General Ability test of 2.5 hours maximum number 600 including General English, General Knowledge,Physics,Chemistry,General Science,History,Freedom Movement,Geography,Current Event

After clearing the written exam you will be called for a five-day interview process with the State Selection Board (SSB) which is the final step of selection.

On completion of the NDA course, you are sent to the respective service academies for your pre- commission training.

NDA- NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY exam conducted by UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) two times a year as NDA-I and NDA-II for entry into three wins of NDA i.e. Indian Army, Navy and Air Force.

One should be unmarried male within the age group of 16.5 years to 19 years of age having completed 12th standard with or without Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics can apply for NDA.

The forth coming exam is NDA-I 2012 & NDA-II 2012

The NDA-I will be held on 15.04.2012
The notification for the exam is yet to be announced which will be on 31.12.2011
The last date of receipt of application form will be on 30.01.2012.

The NDA-II exam will be held on 19.08.2012
The notification for the same will come out on 05.05.2012
The last date of receipt of application form will be on 04.06.2012
