The Company Secretary course is conducted in three stages:
Foundation
Executive
Professional

Eligibilty to apply for the CS Foundation course is:
>> 12th Pass in any stream
No minimum percentage of marks required in class12th

Subjects to study in the CS Foundation Course
English and Business Communication
Economics and Statistics
Financial Accounting
Elements of Business Laws and Management

ICSI conducts Executive Examinations twice a year that is in June and December.


Eligibilty to give the Executive level Exams of ICSI is
Graduation Pass or Foundation course pass of the ICSI

There are 7 papers that you have to give in the ICSI Executive level

Module 1
>> Economic and Commercial Laws
>> Cost and Management accounting
>> Tax Laws and Practice
>> Company Laws

Module 2
>> Company Accounts and Auditing Practices
>> Industrial, General and Labour Laws
>> Capital Markets and Securities Law

CS which stands for company seceratory, it is conducted by icsi i.e institute of company seceratory of india,

cs can be completed in 3 phase

1. cs foundation
2.cs executive
computer training
15 months internship

3.cs professional

cs foundation is termed as cs entrance exam, in cs foundation there are 4 papers ,

1. fundamentals of accounting and auditing
2.mercantile law
3.business studies
4.economics and business stats

for clearing foundation you need to score minimum 40 % in each subject and over all 50 % ,

once cleared foundation one can enroll for executive program
