I have not yet applied for any IBPS exam till date. And I want to apply for it. So can you tell me when is the next IBPS exam and when can I register for it.

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts written examinations for Clerical Position, Probationary Officers and Specialist Officer.
All the three examination are scheduled during different part of the year and since you have not mentioned about the particular examination you want to apply for, you must note that the eligibility criteria for all the three position mentioned above varies.

Now, the application procedure for the upcoming written examination for the post of Probationary Officer is over and for the rest two positions, notifications has not been published yet. Once the notification is published, you will be able to apply online through the official website of Institute of Banking Personnel Selection.

go to the above website, enter your email address and you will be notified as and when ibps issues a notification. you dont need to be stressed when and in which paper will it issue. the least you can do is to go and regester on the site and start preparing for the exams.
currently ibps is org cwe exams for RRB's on 2nd and 9th sep'12 so you can expect a min 3-4 months, but since a lot many banks are having their vacancies a couple of months is what you can expect at least, start preparing a career in banking is the most respectable profession

I cannot tell you the exact date of upcoming IBPS clerk exam but most probably the notification of it will announce in the month of October 2012 and exam will be conducted in the month of December 2012.
