When wl be next PO Exam of IBPS ? I wl complete 30yrs in 12th january 2012.Am i eligible to attend the next PO Exam as i m General cast (female) ?

The next IBPS PO exam will be in the first half of 2012. The bank will release the notification in the first half of 2012. For general category, the maximum age limit required is 30 years. But you will cross 30 years before the exam date. So, you wont be eligible for the next IBPS PO exam.

what will be the cut off marks in english and other subjects?

Hey Imira please dont provide wrong information to other candidates the day when the notification is out the graduation and the age is counted from that day. eg see the last notification of IBPS it was on 1st July 2011 and the age was asked below 30 as on 1.07.2011 so my friend dont lose heart because in Jan the next notification will come and the age asked would be according to that only.

at present, I am 20yrs old. my date of birth is 7.10.1991 from general category. am i eligible to qualify ibps po exam ?

I.B.P.S. - Institute Banking of Personnel Section.
C.W.E. - Common Written Examination.

A C.W.E. is conducted by the I.B.P.S. as a pre-requisite for selection personnel for clerical cadre posts twice in 19 public sector bank.

Generally the notification comes in the middle of the January and the result is declared in June.


Eligibility Criteria :

1. Nationality -

* Indian
* Nepalian
* Bhutanian
* a Tibetan Refugee.
* an Indian Origin migrated from other country.

2. Age -

Minimum - 18 years
Maximum - 28 years.

5yrs, 3 yrs, and 10 yrs re-lactation for SC/ST, OBC and PD candidates respectively.

3. Educational Qualification -

* must have to get 60% in 10 th standard
* must have get 50% in 12 th standard
* must have to get 50% in degree level.

Qualification : Intermediate with more than 50% marks

Age limit : 18-28 years
Age relaxation :
For SC/ST 5 years
For OBC 3 years
For PH 10 years

The written test will cantains the following syllabus

1.Test of reasoning - 50 marks
2.Test on english language - 50
3.Test on Quantitative aptitude - 50
4.Test on General awarness - 50
5.Test on Computer knowledge -50
6.Descriptive paper on English - 50

To be qualified you should get marks as
For General candidates : 24 marks in each subject
For SC/ST/OBC/PWD : 21 marks in each subjects

Bank PO Jobs are in hot demand in these days. The number of candidates who are applying for bank jobs are going on increasing.

Here is the required age limit for the candidates to apply for various job positions.

For General category : 20-28 years
For OBC category : 20-31 years
For SC or ST category : 20-33 years

This age criteria is with related to IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) Exam.

For other bank exams it will slightly vary.

As you have already completed 30 years of age in the year of 2012 itself, you are not eligible to apply for IBPS Exam or any other public sector bank exams.

However you can try for job opportunities in some private sector banks.

You may have the scope to get job in private sector like
ICICI
AXIS
HDFC etc.

After attaining hands on experience in the current job, try to get job opportunity in public sector bank.
