# The polytechnic examinations in Bihar are conducted by Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board, Government of Bihar every year under the name BCECE which is also known as Bihar CET.

# The primary role of this said examination is to make admissions in various under-graduate courses in engineering, agriculture, technology and medical disciplines.

# Age limit prescribed as follows:

* Minimum age: 17 years.
* Maximum age: No upper age fixed.


# Educational qualification presecibed:

* Must have completed 10+2 from recognised board.
* Must have studied subjects in 10+2 i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology and English compulsorily.
* Must have obtained 50% marks in aggregates in 10+2 but there is relaxation in percentage marks for SC and ST categories.


# Important dates regarding above said examination are:

* Notification for examinations comes in the month of February of every year.
* Last date of submitting application form is March of every year.
* Date of examination is April (1st phase) and May (2nd phase) every year.
