You are a bit late. IBPS clerical exam was held in the month of November and December 2012.
Next notification will be out this year. From 2013 onwards, clerical exam will take place once a year. You are eligible for clerical as well as P.O. For clerical you need to be a graduate. For P.O you must posses a degree with atleast 60 % marks. And in a month SBI will issue notification for recruitment of P.O. Do apply. All the best. |

Re: When will the IBPS clerk exam be held?
Quote:
IBPS as you may know stands for the full form of "Institute of Banking Personnel Selection" and its basically a body which conducts the very famous Entrance Exam called the CWE - Common Written Exam for the Banking aspirants who wish to take up Banking as their careers. Its one of the finest and most reputed Entrances in the country and very lucrative for the freshers. There are some of the major Eligibility Criteria's that have been there for years, but this year there are some changes which are introduced in it. They are :- 1. You should be a minimum GRADUATE in ANY stream from a recognized college or university in India with over 55% aggregate in it! Earlier for the Clerical entries only 12th pass used to be enough a qualification, but witnessing the increasing demands among the people for the clerical jobs as well they have taken this step.. 2. You age should be between 20-28 years for any job under the IBPS. So if a candidate is able to satisfy these, then he/she may well attempt the exam and expect calls from the good and top Public Sector Banks. Now coming to your query, IBPS conducts the IBPS Clerical and PO exams separately. So recently in the September the IBPS Clerical entry notification was released and the exams were held on 7th and 14th October 2012. Now if you have missed those dates, then I am afraid you would have to wait another year for the next IBPS Entry Exams CWE Clerical 2013. Again the notification for that would be releasing in the coming August/September 2013. Click Here to receive regular updates on it. All the best Regards RANJEET |
