hi,
AFCAT exam stands for Air force common Admission test.

dear AFCAT exam 2013 is over.

You have to wait for next year exam.

Eligibility;-

----You must be passed a bachelor degree from a recognized university.

---Your degree will be 60%

---Your age should be between 19-23 years for flying branch.

----18-28 years for technical branch

---20-27 years depending upon your post in ground duty branch

---You must be physically as well as mentally fit

There are two branches for which you can apply through AFCAT(Air-Force Common Admission Test) Exam in any one of the given below.These are :-

• Flying Branch.
• Technical Branch.
• Ground Duty Branch.

Eligibility requirements :-

Flying Branch

• You should have an Engineering degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Information Technology from recognized university.
• Your age should be between 19 to 23 years.

Technical Branch

• You should have a Bachelor Engineering degree in Aeronautical Engineering with specialization in Mechanical/Electronics.
• Your age should be between 18 to 28 years.

Ground Duty Branch

• You should have a bachelor degree from recognized university in Administration and Logistics/Accounts/Post Graduation degree in any discipline.
• Your minimum marks should be 50%.
• Your age should be between 20 to 25 years.

Physical Standards for appearing in AFCAT Exam

• Minimum height(For men) - 157.5 cms.
• Minimum Height(For women) - 152 cms.

Selection Process

• Stage I - Intelligence Test.
• Stage II - Psychological Test,Group Test and Interview.
• Stage III - Pilot Aptitude Battery Test(For Flying Branch).

Exam Syllabus for AFCAT

• General Awareness.
• Verbal ability in English.
• Numerical ability.
• Reasoning and Military aptitude test.

Important :-
~Exam notification for this exam comes in the month of December.
~Entrance exam is taken in the month of January .
