when and where is the mhcet forms issued?plz inform me as soon as possible.....

The Government of Maharashtra has not issued any notification regarding MHT-CET, 2011 till now.

The MHT-CET, 2011 notification is expected to be issued in the month of march,2011.

You can purchase the Application Form with information brochures and submit the same at :

* Respective Jr. College / High School
* Divisional Authorities (For candidates who have appeared/passed HSC (12th Std.) or equivalent examination from Outside Maharashtra)

MHT forms are still not announced to come but since for this year admission of courses, they distributed form this year MARCH month so you can except same for the year 2011.....hope you do well

you can buy from many book stall or you can recieve from the post. the MHT CET forms are available in the bank in the state of maharastra, for more in formation you can visit the website of MHT CET. thanking you.

• Last Date for submission of CET forms: 4th week of March, 2011

• Date of CET: 1st week of May, 2011

Application form of MHT-CET are availible in the Junior College Or High School where candidate has studied for 12th Std.

The cost of application form along with the Information Brochures of MHT-CET-2010 and the Examination fee is 700/- for open category, and 500/- for reserve category candidate.

The candidates from outside Maharashtra can purchase application form and information brochure of MHT-CET-2010 from any divisional authority office by submitting demand draft of Rs 700/- drawn in favour of competent authority, MHT-CET, Mumbai payable at Mumbai, drawn on any scheduled commercial bank.

My daughter is studying in karnataka apperring for 12 Th Exam in state syllabus
she wants to take Maharashtra cet for both medical and engineering

I would like to know the following

1.0 Elegiliblity Criteria for apparing the entrance exams
2.0 mother is eductaed in maharastra
3.0 Belong to Backward community - Devang - Kosti

Pls advise weather we can apply is sepcial catogery

well the forms can be purchased from the selected post offices.you can get it from the renowned nearer post office from your home...so best of luck...

my daughter is o.b.c catigary wheter caste certificate and noncrimiler certificate is need when cet form submit

You can obtained the MHT CET application form from the government High school in the maharashtra state. The cost of application form with information Brochures is 700 for general category and 500 for reserved category. The MHT CET application form is available from the 1st week of march. The candidate who are outside the maharshtra can obtained the MHT CET application form by sending the demand draft in favour of competent authority, MHT CET. Payable at mumbai.

It depends on your course of study in 12th class whether it is science, arts or commerce.
In science you can compete in IIT-JEE, AIEEE, VITEEE, Manipal and other state level entrances.

If your daughter is from P.C.M(Physics,Chemistry,Maths) background then she is eligible for Engineering CET.If she is from Bi.P.C(Biology,Physics,Chemistry) background then she is only eligible for the medical entrance.


Since your daughter has studied in Karnataka.Hence,she will be treated as a non-local in Maharastra.As your daughter is non-local hence you have got less reservation compared to the locals i.e about 10-15%.If your living near the Maharastra-Karnataka border then you can get additional reservation.
Your caste may be considered if there is a same caste named "Devang - Kosti" in Maharastra else your daughter will be treated as a GEN category student.
