Re: Where and when to get forms for merchant navy?
Dear Sir,
There is difference types of course available in India, and sponsored programmed are also available through marine Company, keep an eye in news paper, if you are B.E or B.Tech then you can do one year pre sea training in any D.G approved marine collage, if you are a +2 student you can apply to DMET or MERI in Kolkata or Mumbai, there is Indian company like Shipping Corporation of India, Tolani Shipping, and many company who take B.E as pre sea trainee, Similar rules apply for deck side, you have to join as a cadet or do your B.Sc Nautical Sciences and you can join as a merchant Navy officer |

Re: Where and when to get forms for merchant navy?
Hello....I believe you are looking to join Merchant navy in august batch. The forms are out for many shipping companies.as there are a number of shipping companies it is better to first of all send your biodata to them through email and they'll inform you when there is a opening. If you are looking for an Indian course then don't forget to fill IMUCET form as it is the basic requirement by all shipping companies giving courses in india.visit www.jobships.com regularly.
You can get the phone numbers of companies from the site and you can call them if you are too impatient to wait for email. You can visit www.aet-tankers.com,they have an excellent sponsorship programme.you can stay in Malaysia for 3 years for this course and the fees is equal to other courses in India. Most of the forms are to be filled online and you can choose the mode of payment according to your choice. All the best. |
