Will I be applicable for MBBS admission after scoring 49.33% in general category


In HSC I got 49.33% (PCB) in general category then I will applicable for MBBS admission or not?

MBBS stands for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. As the name the suggests it is a bachelor degree course of four years after completing which one steps towards becoming a doctor.

Sorry to inform you that having secured 49.33% in your higher secondary board examination you are not eligible for the same examination as for the same course one has to have a higher secondary degree with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as the main subjects with at least 50% aggregate ( even 60% for few colleges ) from a recognized board of education.

So to pursue the same course you will have to reappear in your 12th board examination so that you could manage the minimum aggregate required for same course. Also for pursuing the same courses from top government college to enjoy the quality education at reasonable cost you will to clear entrance examination such as AIPMT, BHU-PMT, State PMT, AIIMS entrance examination, etc.
