Will I get any seat in NIT? I have scored 160 marks in B.Arch and 4016 rank in category wise


sir,i have got 160 marks in b.arch and 4016 rank in category wise.I came to know the results after completion of counciling i.e yesterday...so sir will i get any seat in NITs now??

Yes there will be some seats available until your chance comes and subsequently you have a chance of getting admission in an NIT.
I must tell you though that 50% of seats are reserved in every NIT for the people from that state i.e having birth certificate or domicile from that state.
Thus i would suggest you to try the NITs in your state first.
Also you must know that with this rank you will definitely not get a seat in any of the renowned NITs solely on the basis of merit like Varangal, Trichy, Nagpur etc.
Thus try for the the NIT in your state and aim for the 50% quota.
