without gate exam can i get admission in nit, kurukshetra if i got good percentage more than 80 in b.sc...??

No,you can not take admission to NIT,Kurukshetra without giving GATE exam. On the basis of GATE score you will get admission to any of the college.You have to submit your GATE exam score card to the respective college.

But in the site it is given that after filling of the gate seats the remaining seats will be offered to the sponsored candidates and also to the non gate candidates. Is it true?
