Hello Sir/Madam, I am planning to apply in CSIR UGC National Eligibility Test NET recruitment of this year. But before that I would like to know about the age criteria, that is, what is the age limit for applying in this recruitment? Please let me know about the age criteria immediately.

CSIR UGC National Eligibility Test NET recruitment:

~~ Age limit:

Maximum age limit 28 years.

** Upper age limit may be relaxable up to 5 years in case of SC / ST / Persons with Disability (PwD) / female applicants and 03 years in case of OBC (Non Creamy Layer) applicants.

The maximum age to apply for CSIR UGC National Eligibility Test NET recruitment 2019, is 28 years. Candidates who belong to OBC candidates will get age relaxation of 3 years and those who are from SC/ST/PH category will get age relaxation of 5 years.

Age Limit CSIR UGC NET Recruitment 2019

- Age should be between 18 to 40 years if you belong to General category.

- There is age relaxation available for those who belong to reserved category.

For Junior Research Fellowship (NET), you should be a maximum of 28 years of age as on 01/01/2019. The upper age limit is relatable up to 5 years for SC / ST / PWD /Female candidates and 3 years in case of OBC (Non Creamy Layer) candidates.

For Lectureship (NET), there is no upper age limit.

The maximum age limit to apply for CSIR UGC NET ( National Eligibility Test ) 2019 is 28 years as on 01.01.2019 in case of JRFs ( Junior Research Fellowship ) while there is no limit in case of lectureship. Age relaxation is allowed for reserved category candidates as per the government norms.
