Dear friends, I am interested to apply for CSIR UGC National Eligibility Test NET recruitment 2019. I would like to know about the eligibility criteria for applying in this recruitment of this year. Can you please let me know about the eligibility criteria asap? Waiting for your response!

Eligbility Criteria CSIR UGC NET Recruitment 2019

- You need to have a CSIR/UGC NET score in the required subject.

- Age should be between 18 to 40 years.

- Reserved category candidates can avail age relaxation

Eligibility to apply for CSIR UGC National Eligibility Test NET recruitment 2019:

You must have obtained a M.Sc or an equivalent degree / Integrated BS-MS / BS - 4 years / BE / B. Tech / B. Pharma / MBBS with minimum of 55% marks (50% marks for SC / ST / physically and visually handicapped candidates)
from any recognized university.

Those enrolled for M.Sc or those who have completed 10+2+3 years of the above qualifying examination are also eligible to apply.

Candidates having B.Sc (Hons) or equivalent degree or candidates enrolled in Integrated MS-PhD program can also apply. Such candidates need minimum 55% marks for general and OBC-NCL and 50% marks in case of SC / ST, physically and visually handicapped candidates.

Candidates with bachelor’s degree must be registered / enrolled for PhD / Integrated PhD programme to be eligible for CSIR.

PhD degree holders, who have qualified Master’s degree before September 19, 1991 with minimum 50% marks are eligible to apply for only Lectureship.

For Junior Research Fellowship (NET), candidates should be a maximum of 28 years of age as on 01/01/2019. SC / ST / Physically or Visually handicapped /Female candidates and OBC- Non Creamy Layer candidates can get 5 years and 3 years of age relaxation in upper age limit respectively.

For Lectureship (NET), there is no upper age limit.

You should have M.Sc, BE, BTech, BPharma, or MBBS with minimum 55% marks and age should not be more than 28 years as of 01/01/2019.

The application forms can be submitted through http://csirhrdg.res.in and with the payment of Rs.1000.

The documents which are to be uploaded with the passport size photograph, Scanned Signature, last marksheet and Category Certificate.

Eligibility for applying CSIR UGC NET:

For general and obc candidate 55% marks in msc or equivalent / integrated BE/BTECH /MBBS and for sc/St/pwd 50%

Maximum age should be within 28 year , 3 year relaxation for obc and 5 year for sc/St/pwd relaxation available
