Can I give WBCS exam at 20 age, when I am going to be 21 on March of the year of my preliminary exam?

WBCS stands for West Bengal Civil Service.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Candidate should have passed graduation from a recognized university.

2. The minimum age of candidate should be 21 years.

3. The age of candidate should not be greater than 32 years.

4. Candidate should be citizen of India.

As per my knowledge, you are not eligible to give WBCS exam at the age of 20 years.

Eligibility Criteria Required to apply for WBSC Examination:

West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) issues official notification for filling up several posts every year. So, whenever it issues official notification, all the age details will be given in the notification. So you are required to notice the age considered as on particular date.

>> So make sure you crossed the age of 21 years as on the given date which is given in the notification.

>> If you can meet the above age criteria, then I am sure you will be eligible to apply for WBSC recruitment.

>> The minimum age required for WBSC recruitment is 21 years and the maximum age must not exceed 32 years. There will be an age relaxation for reserved category candidates as per government norms.

For WBCS examination, the age of candidate must be 21 years (First January).

As per my knowledge, you are not eligible to give WBCS exam at the age of 20 years.

No, you are not eligible for WBCS exam.

WBCS stands for West Bengal Civil Service exam. This exam is conducted by Public Service Commission.

Those who have completed graduation in any discipline from a recognized university are eligible for WBCS exam. There is no marks criteria. Final year student are eligible for WBCS exam.

You must speak, read, write in Bengali language .

Age Criteria:

For General: 21 to 35 years
For OBC: 21 to 38 years
For SC/ST: 21 to 40 years
