Hello Sir, I am 32 years old now. Is there any chance to increase the age for WBCS group A & B exam, so that I can apply for the next year. Is it possible? Please answer as soon as possible.

WBCS stands for West Bengal Civil Service.

Age limit:

Candidate age limit should be above 21 years.

Candidate age limit should be below 32 years.

Upper age relaxation applicable for other categories.

3 years upper age relaxation for OBC candidates.

5 years upper age relaxation for SC/ST candidates.

Physically Handicapped candidates upper age relaxation up to 45 years.

WBCS stands for West Bengal Civil Service Exam. This exam is conducted by Public Service Commission.

If you have completed graduation in any discipline from a recognized university then you are eligible for WBCS exam. There are no marks criteria. Final year student are eligible for WBCS exam.

Age Criteria:

For General: 21 to 32 years
For OBC: 21 to 35 years
For SC/ST: 21 to 37 years

Selection process for WBCS exam are -

1) Preliminary Test
2)Mains Exam
3)Personal Interview.
