You have completed 12th standard from a open university so you are eligible for Indian Army through NDA exam.

Candidates who have completed the 12th standard from a recognized board or equivalent exam are eligible for NDA exam. Final year of 12th standard are eligible for NDA exam. Your age should be in between to 16.5 years to 19.5 years.

Written examination will be divided into 2 parts-

Mathematics-300 marks.
General ability Test- 600 marks.

Total time duration for 2 papers is 300 mins

General Ability Test -

English 200 marks
General Knowledge 400 marks

To join in Indian Army after +2 is possible by writing the respected entrance exam for it and you can apply for NDA Exam (National Defence Academy). This exam is conducted by UPSC every year as NDA I and NDA II.

# Candidate should have a citizenship in India

# Age limit needed is 16 1/2-19 1/2 years

# Martial status needed is unmarried male candidate

# Educational qualification needed is +2 from a recognized school board in order to join in Indian army

# Apart from all these candidate need to be physically fit.

Yes, you are eligible to join in Indian Army after completion of your 12th standard from a recognised university. To join in Indian Army, you need to appear in NDA examination which is conducted by UPSC twice a year for candidates who are interested to join in Indian Army/Navy/Air Force.

Eligibility Criteria :-
1. You must be a citizen of India.

2. You must be in between 16 1/2 to 19 years of age.

3. You must have completed 12th standard or equivalent from a recognised board.

4. You must be an Unmarried Male candidate

5. You must be Physically fit.

You can join Indian Army after 12th standard from open university if open university is recognized university/board.
