Getting an officers job in narcotics department is possible through UPSC civil services exam. Hence, you just need to have a degree in any discipline to become eligible for such exam.

You need to qualify the UPSC exam with excellent marks, so that you can get cadre of your choice. Hence, your B.Tech chemical is enough for such job.
