Detailed information and salary of Lower Division Clerk?


Hello,
I want to know the details of Lower Division Clerk
post. Kindly tell me the details and also tell me
the salary of this post.

LDC - Lower Division Clerk is a post of Group C level under Central Government of India.

A candidate can apply for this post, if he/she has passed class 12th in any subject from a recognized board or any other equivalent qualification.

No percentage criteria required to apply fort his post in various departments.

Candidate must have knowledge of computer typing with speed of minimum 30 wpm in Hindi or 35 wpm in English.

If you have above mentioned qualification then you can apply for this post.

Pay Scale of Lower Division Clerks under the Government :

Gross Salary of LDC - at Grade Pay of Rupees 1900/- Rs. 22000-24000 and final cash in hand after all deductions - 20000-22000/- rupees only.

Selection procedure of Lower Division Clerks post in government of India :

A candidate need to qualify written examination that is commonly consist of four subjects asked - Reasoning Ability, Quantitive Aptitude, English Language and General knowledge and examination pattern is of 50 questions are asked in each subject for 50 marks in objective type pattern.

All candidates qualified in written examination are called for Computer Typing/ Skill test of the language Hindi/English as per their preference given.

If a candidate qualifies skill test as well and his/her marks comes enough for final selection then he/she is selected and 90% role in selection depends on written examination.

LDCs are recruited by SSC with DEO post, LDCs are also recruited by KVS - Kendriya Vidhyalaya Sangathan.

Other than these bodies - Defense ministry recruits LDC posts more than 10 times a year in different departments and all other government bodies and branches including educational universities also recruits LDCs because LDC is the most essential post in a office which manages more work of higher authorities that is why it is recruited.
