Mizoram University came into existence in the year 2001 on the 2nd of July and the university is presently a Central University offering courses in different disciplines of education.

Mizoram University invites application from eligible candidates for different positions of which Lower Division Clerk comes under Group C post and the post code for this position is LDM.

Name of the position: Lower Division Clerk

Number of Vacancies: Total number of vacancies is 27, which is divided as follows:

• UR – 13

• ST – 13

• OBC - 01

Pay Scale: Candidates appointed for the position of Lower Division Clerk will be coming under Pay Brand – 1 and so their pay scale would be Rs.5200-20200+GP of Rs.1900

Eligibility:

Educational Qualification: Candidates applying for the position of Lower Division Clerk must have their HSLC (High School Leaving Certificate) and they should possess a typing speed of 30 words per minute. In addition, candidates should also possess working knowledge of computers.

Age requirement: The maximum age limit for the position of Lower Division Clerk is 28 years, which is relaxable for reserved category candidates.

Candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs.200 in the form of DD, drawn in favor of Registrar, Mizoram University on State Bank of India, Aizawl Main Branch. Candidates can also pay the prescribed fee of application directly to the Finance Department, Mizoram University, Aizawl during office hours. Persons with disabilities, SC and ST candidates are exempted from payment of application fee upon submission of relevant disability/caste/tribe certificate issued by competent authority.
