Hello everyone, I would like to know about the eligibility criteria for applying in Air India Limited Aircraft Technician recruitment. Can anyone of you please let me know about the eligibility so that I can apply for the same post of this recruitment. Thank you!

To apply for Air India Limited Aircraft Technician recruitment, you should have completed your diploma in mechanical/aeronautical engineering with minimum 60% marks from a recognized institute. Candidates must have minimum 1 year of aviation experience in aircraft maintenance. Candidates should not exceed the age limit of 35 years and age relaxation will be applicable as per government norms.

Eligibility criteria for this recruitment:

Educational qualification-
AME Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ electronis/ Tele-communication/ Radio/ Instrumentation) or equivalent qualification for ex-serviceman with one-year experience in aircraft maintenance in concerned trade.

Age limit- upper age limit is 35 years as on 1st August, 2019. 3 years relaxation for OBC and 5 years relaxation for SC/ ST.

Application fee- Rs.100/- for Gen, EWS & OBC candidates and Rs.500/- for SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen candidates.

Eligibility to apply for Air India Limited Aircraft Technician recruitment is:

~~ Educational Qualification:

i) AME Diploma/ Certificate in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (02 or 03 years) in Mechanical stream from recognized Institution with 60% marks/ equivalent grade (55% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC candidates).

ii) Diploma in Engineering (03 years) in Mechanical/ Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent with 60% marks/ equivalent grade (55% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC candidates).

~~ Experience: Must have minimum 01 year aviation experience in aircraft maintenance.

OR

Successful completion of national apprenticeship in the concerned trade in aircraft maintenance (minimum one year duration).

~~ Desirable: Candidates with higher experience will be given preference.

~~ Age Limit: Candidate maximum age is 35 years. Relaxation are available for reserved category candidate.
