Respected Sir/Madam, I am looking forward to apply in Indian Coast Guard Yantrik recruitment. Can I know about the eligibility criteria for applying in this particular recruitment? Kindly tell me as soon as possible. Thank you!

Eligibility criteria required to apply for Indian Coastal Guard Yantrik recruitment is mentioned below :-

--> You should have passed Matriculation or 10th standard and Diploma in Electrical/
Mechanical/ Electronics and Telecommunication (Radio/Power) with minimum aggregate of 60% (55% for SC/ ST) marks from a recognised institute.

--> You should be in between 18 to 22 years of age. Upper age relaxation of 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ ST category candidates is applicable as per government rules.

Physical Standard :

1. Height : 157 cms

2. Chest : will proportioned and minimum expansion 5 cms.

3. Weight : Proportioned to height and age 10 % acceptable.

4. Running : 1.6 KM running in 7 minute.


No Application Fee for All category.

Age limit :

1. Minimum age limit 18 years.

2. Maximum age limit : 22 years.

Important dates :

1. Starting date : 23 July 2018.

2. Last date : August 01 2018.

3. Admit card download : 13 August 2018.

In order to apply for Indian Coast Guard Yantrik recruitment, you should have completed your 10th standard or diploma in electrical/mechanical/electronics and telecommunication engineering with 60% marks from an AICTE recognized institute. 5% marks relaxation will be applicable for SC/ST candidates. Your age should be minimum 18 years and can apply till the age of 22 years. 3 years of age relaxation will be applied for OBC and 5% for SC/ST candidates.

>> You must have passed Matriculation or its equivalent qualification from a recognized board.

>> And you should have done Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Electronics and Communication Engineering approved by All India Council of Technical Education.

>> You should have secured minimum 60% marks in qualifying examination in order to be eligible.

>> The minimum age required is 18 years and maximum age should not exceed 22 years and of course there will be an age relaxation applicable for reserved category candidates.

Candidates who have passed 10th or Matriculation or equivalent and Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Electronics and Telecommunication (Radio/Power) Engineering approved by AICTE with at least 60% marks are eligible to apply in Indian Coast Guard Yantrik recruitment. However, 5% relaxation in marks will be given for outstanding sports person of National Level who have obtained 1st, 2nd or 3rd position in any field sports events at the Open National Championship / Interstate National Championship. Age: Minimum 18 years and maximum 22 years (SC/ST – upper age relaxation of 5 years and 3 years for OBC candidates).

Eligibility Criteria for Yantriks:
Matriculate with 3 years Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics Engg.

Physical Standards for Yantriks:
Height: Min. 157 cms.

Chest: Min. expansion 5 cms.

Weight: Proportionate to height & age (± 10% acceptable).

Eye Sight: 6/6 (Good eye) and 6/9 (Bad eye) for GD.
