Educational qualification:
To be eligible for becoming a magistrate one should possess a law graduate degree.

Age:
Not less than 21 years and not greater than 35 years.

Required skills:
-Candidate should have discipline, sense of responsibility commitment and self-confidence.
-The job requires a lot of hard work, stamina ,Alertness of mind and above all honesty towards society.
-They must have a pro-people oriented bent of mind and interpersonal skills.

Percentage required in LLB degree for the magistrate exam:-

Bachelor of law candidates need to fulfill the following eligibility criteria to apply for judicial examination:-

The percentage of marks required in bachelor of law is 55% to apply for judicial examination. For SC/ ST candidates, it's only 50% marks.


The age criteria is 35 - 45 years. Upper age relaxation applicable to candidates of reserved category.

You need to focus on your law subjects as well as general awareness, aptitude, English and reasoning.

If you are interested to become a magistrate then the candidate should have minimum educational qualification of LLB from a recognised university or Institute of India.

Age of the candidate should not be less than 21 years and not greater than 35 years.

Candidates should have discipline, sense of responsibility, commitment and self-confidence.

Th job requires a lot of hard work, seminar, alertness of mind and above all honesty towards society.

The minimum percentage required to become a magistrate after passing LLB is minimum 55% marks for general category students and 50% for reserved category student.

If your graduation degree marks is above 50% from recognized board then you are eligible for Magistrate in Andhra Pradesh.

For this post, you must have at least 10 years experience in Civil Services.

Students who have finished their graduation in Law are eligible to become magistrates. Their age should be more than 21 and must not exceed 35 years at the time of applying. Those candidates who have finished their LLM degree are also eligible to apply.

The eligibility for the Magistrate examination in Andhra Pradesh is a candidate must have passed a law degree from a recognized university in India and must be enrolled as an Advocate under the Advocates Act 1961 with membership in the state bar council. For direct recruitment, a candidate must have completed 3 years as a practicing advocate. The candidate minimum age should be 21 years and the maximum age limit for the examination is 35 years and should be a citizen of India.

There is no maximum percentage is required.
The essential requirement is the possession of LLB degree( either 5 year Integrated course or 3 year) from a recognised university .

Eligibility for the Magistrate exam in Andhra Pradesh.

1. The eligibility criteria for appearing in Judicial Services Examination is a degree in LL. B and he/she has enrolled or qualified to be enrolled as an Advocate under the Advocates' Act 1961.

2. No experience is required and final year candidates can also appear.
