Eligibility for the post of Sub-Inspector of Police


myself shivraj i have done 10 PUC DIPLOMA student so am i eligible or not eligible for post of police sub- inspector in Karnataka police or any state of police department.
please revert back me ASAP.

Eligibility criteria for Sub-Inspector of Police :-

1. You must have completed Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any discipline from a recognised university.

2. You must be in between 20 to 25 years of age. Upper age relaxation is applicable to reserved category candidates as per government rules.

Physical Standards :-
Minimum Height :- 170 cms
Chest size :- 81cms before expansion and minimum 85cms after expansion

No, diploma candidates are not eligible for Sub Inspector post f police.

Educational Qualification:

Graduation degree from a recognized university.

Age:

Minimum age = 20 years
Minimum age = 28 years

Age relaxation:-

SC/ST- 5 years

OBC- 3 years

Ex-Servicemen ( Unreserved)- 5 years

Ex-Servicemen (OBC)- 8 years

Ex-Servicemen (SC/ST)- 10 years

To apply for the post of Sub Inspector in Karnataka Police, you must have Bachelors degree in any discipline.

Recruitment for the post of Sub inspector in Karnataka Police is done through the Civil Services Exam conducted by the Karnataka Public Service Commission .

Eligibility criteria required to apply for SI examination in Karnataka are as under:-

- The candidate must have completed Graduation degree with at least 60%(50% for SC/ST) marks from a recognized university .

-The age limit to apply for the exam is from 20 years to 25 years for general category.There is relaxation in upper age limit by 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.

-The selection procedure involves of

Written test.

Physical test.

Medical test.

The eligibility criteria to become the sun inspector of police:
educational qualification:
the candidates who have completed their graduation are eligible to apply for this job.For SC/ST candidates minimum education level is intermediate form the recognized board.
For both men/women(GENERAL): 21 yrs. to 30 yrs.
For SC/ST candidates: 21 yrs. to 35 yrs.
For OBC candidates: 21 yrs. to 33 yrs.

Physical eligibility:
height
for men:5'6" minimum
for women: 152.5cm

No, you are not eligible for recruitment as Sub- Inspector after diploma degree from any recognised university.

The minimum required qualification to appear for examination for recruitment is bachelor degree in any discipline.

So, you have to pursue bachelor degree to appear for entrance examination and after qualifying in examination become eligible for final recruitment. The examination is conducted by SSC. For more information visit at www.ssc.nic.in.

No dear you are not eligible to apply or sub inspector of police in karnataka. Actually to apply for sub inspector of police you should have minimum requirements of eligibility which are given below.

<> You should complete at least graduation from the recognized university .

<> Age should be in between these limits.

<> Minimum Age : 18 years

<> Maximum Age : 28 years

<> Age relaxation is applicable for all reserved candidates.

No, I am sorry to say that you are not eligible to apply for the post "Sub Inspector of Police" in Karnataka after 10 PUC Diploma as you have not met the required eligibility criteria. The basic educational qualification criteria required is as follows.

>> Candidates must have passed "Bachelor's Degree" or Graduate Degree or its equivalent from a recognized university.

>> As you have done 10 PUC Diploma which is not equivalent to Bachelor Degree, I am sorry to say that you are not eligible to apply for this recruitment.

>> Not only for this recruitment in Karnataka, let it any Sub Inspector of Police recruitment the minimum qualification required for this post in Police department is "Graduate Degree" from a recognized university.

The aspirant should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a university recognized by UGC to become a Sub Inspector of Police. The age limit should be between 19 to 25 years. The height for male should be 168 and chest 86 cm. The selection will be done through Written test, Physical endurance test and viva- voce. The aspirant can apply online for the recruitment. These are all the requirements to apply for the post of Sub Inspector of Police.

For sub inspector post in Police you need at least a graduate degree. Diploma is not enough to make you eligible for this post.

Selection will be based on the performance in the written exam and physical fitness test. Those who are medically fit will be allowed to join after these two stages.

Sir my 10 percent is 64 and puc percent is 46 and degree im studying well this year I'm gonna complete degree I can eligible to become sub inspector of Karnataka but in interview what if they reject me for my puc marks..please reply me sir

Education qualification:- bachelor's degree in any discipline with recognized University.
SSC ( staff selection commission) entrance exam need to clear to become sub inspector of police.
Inspector of police:- Inspector of police is the officer in charge of police station in particular region or locality.
Diploma is not eligible for this post...
