Exemptions available in UPSC IAS Preliminary Examination 2020 for SC/ST/OBC candidates?


Hello friends, can any of you let me know about the exemption which is available in UPSC IAS Preliminary Examination 2020 for SC/ST/OBC candidates? I belong to a ST category and I want to know about the exemptions available for me. Please tell me asap. Thank you!

Civil Service examination is conducted by UPSC. It is conducted in three stages and candidates have to appear and qualify in all stages of examination for final selection.

Educational qualification - Bachelor degree in any discipline.

Age limit - 21-32 years with relaxation of 3 years and 5 years for reserved category OBC and SC/ST respectively.

Attempts - 6 for general, 9 for OBC, upto the age limit for SC/ST.

1.General / 21-32 years / 6.

2. OBC / 21-35 years / 9.

3. SC/ST / 21-37 years / upto upper age limit.

Exemptions available in UPSC IAS Preliminary Examination 2020 for SC/ST/OBC candidates are as mentioned below:-
OBC - up to 3 years
SC/ST - up to 5 years
Ex-servicemen - up to 5 years
Domicile of Jammu and Kashmir from 1st January 1981 to 31st December 1990 - up to 5 years
PwD candidates - up to 10 years
