1.how much height required in sub inspector.
2.age limit for sub inspector

-->SC/ST :- 162.5 cms
-->Candidates belong to Hill areas of Garhwal, Kumaon, Himachal Pradesh, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas, Kashmir Valley, Leh & Lakakh Regions of J&K, North Eastern States and Sikkim :- 165 cms.

Female Candidates :-
-->General Category :- 157 cms
-->SC/ST :- 154 cms
-->Candidates belong to Hill areas of Garhwal, Kumaon, Himachal Pradesh, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas, Kashmir Valley, Leh & Lakakh Regions of J&K, North Eastern States and Sikkim :- 155 cms

2.Weight :-
The weight for male and female candidates should be as specified for the corresponding heights.

3.Chest :-
Male Candidates :-
-->General Category :- 80 (Unexpanded) and 85 (Expanded)
-->SC/ST :- 77 (Unexpanded) and 82 (Expanded)
-->Candidates belong to Hill areas of Garhwal, Kumaon, Himachal Pradesh, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas, Kashmir Valley, Leh & Lakakh Regions of J&K, North Eastern States and Sikkim :- 80 ((Unexpanded) and 85 (Expanded)

For female candidates, there are no measurements specified for the post of Sub-Inspector of Police.

4.Eye Sight :-
The minimum distant vision should be 6/6 and 6/9 of two eyes without correction, i.e. without wearing of glasses.

-->Age Limit :- 21-25 years. Age relaxation is applicable to the reserved category candidates as per the government rules.

The age limit of candidates for Sub Inspector of Police for different cadres is 21-25 years. Upper age limit is relaxed upto 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST.

Now coming to height criteria, the height of candidate must not be less than 167.6 cms.

Height Required:

Height Minimum for males : 165 cms (160 cms for SC/150cms for ST/165 for Ex-S);

Height Minimum for Females : 157 cms for General/SC/ST/OBC;

Chest Minimum for males : 80 cms (76.2 cms for SC/ST) with expansion of 5 cms;

Weight Minimum for females: 50 kg for SC and 48 kg for ST.

Age Required :

Between 20 and 25 years for Sub-Inspectors.

Between 18 to 25 years for Constables.

Relaxation of upper age limit is as per rules.
