Direct selection is not done for the post of RTO Officer, for this, you have to first get selected for the post of RTO or IVM. After a few years, promotions are appointed to the post of RTO.
Qualifications to become RTO:- 1- The applicant should be 10th pass to become an RTO officer. 2- If you want to get more high post in this then you must pass Graduation from Recognized University. 3- The age limit for RTO officers should be between 21 to 30 years. |

Procedure to become Regional Transport Officer:-
RTO exam is generally conducted by Public Service Commission of each state in India. However, the eligibility criteria for RTO examination is maintained below:- Graduation in BTech or any specialisation is required from a recognised University. Candidates age should not be less than 21 years. Maximum age requirement for general candidates is 33 years. For OBC it is a 33 years and for SC/ST candidate it is set at 35 years. Candidate should be Indian. Final year appearing candidates can also apply for the examination. |

There are different post in Regional Transport Officer ( Clerk, Judicial and Sub Assistant)
This exam is conducted by UPSC in RTO department. Eligibility Criteria:- You should have passed the graduation from a recognised University. Your age should be between 21 to 30 years. To become Regional Transport Officer which is divided into three types of posts like Clerk Post, Assistant Engineer Post, Judicial Post. RTO examination has been conducted by the Public Service Commission of every state. The eligibility criteria are given below as per the post.
RTO Clerk - The candidate must have passed a bachelor's degree or diploma or equivalent from a recognized university. The candidate should be an Indian citizen and the minimum age should be 18 years and the maximum age should not be more than 37 years. RTO Assistant Engineer - The candidate must have passed a bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university. The candidate should be an Indian citizen and the minimum age should be 21 years and the maximum age should not be more than 35 years. RTO Judicial Servant - The candidate must have passed a bachelor's degree in Law with a minimum score of 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized university. The candidate should be an Indian citizen and the minimum age should be 21 years and the maximum age should not be more than 35 years. |

The minimum qualification is that the candidate should be 10th passed to be eligible for Regional Transport Officer in India. If you want a better post then you should do graduation from any recognized university.
The candidate should be in the group of 21 years to 30 years to be eligible. |

--- To become a Regional Transport officer, Candidate should have minimum educational qualification of graduation from a recognised University approved by UGC/AICTE.

Regional Transport officer is a central government job.
The three most common post are... RTO clerk: The minimum educational qualification is graduation in any discipline from a recognised University. RTO assistant engineer : The minimum educational qualification is bachelor's degree in civil or mechanical engineering from a recognised University. RTO judicial servant : Bachelor's degree in law with at least 55% marks. |

Applicant should be 10th pass to become an RTO officer. If you want to get more high post in this than you must pass graduation in any stream from recognised University. Age limit 21 to 30 years. |

After successfully completing your graduation degree, you will have to appear in the Public Service Commission Exam (PSC) conducted by your State Government and you will have to crack the exam to get selected for the post of Regional Transport Officer.
