Hi i am Prakash I have completed B.COM I am interested to become sales tax officer please guide me about the process for sales tax officer exam after B.COM?

After graduation from Bcom, the candidate needs to apply for the Union Public Service Commission Exam. The candidate needs to pass that exam to become a sales tax officer in India.

UPSC exam contains:
Preliminary Examination.
This examination contains two papers.
Main Examination.

Process for Sales Tax Officer exam after Bcom:-

Yes, BCom student are eligible for sales tax officer exam. Sales tax officer exam is conducted by Staff Selection Commission to recruit the sales tax officer.
Those candidates who have completed graduation degree from a recognised University are eligible for sale tax officer exam.
To become sale tax officer exam you have to pass the Civil Services Examination conducted by the union public.
Also your age should be in between 18 years to 25 years. The upper age limit will be relaxed by three years for OBC candidates and five years for SC/ST candidates.
The examination is conducted two ways
(1) written exam (2nd) interview for personality test for such candidates as may qualify in the written test.

Process for Sales Tax Officer exam after Bcom:-

Candidates who wishes to become a sales tax officer has to appear for the exam conducted by SSC ( Staff Selection Commission ) .

The candidate must have passed graduation degree in any stream from a recognised Institute/ University.

The candidate age limit to apply for the exam is from 18 years to 27 years.

Physical standard requirements for sales tax officer are:-
Height 157.5 cms
Chest 81cms

Selection Procedure:-
Preliminary Exam
Main Exam
Medical Test

The questions for the exam are asked from Reasoning
Numerical Ability and Data Interpretation
English and General Awareness.

The government conducts an entrance examination for this job and the candidate has to appear for the SSC CGL examination (The Staff Selection Commission - Combined Graduate Level) to be recruited for various posts in ministries, departments, and organizations of the Government of India. The educational qualification required for a Sales Tax Officer is a candidate must have passed a bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognized university. The candidate minimum age should be 18 years and the maximum age should not be more than 32 years.

Candidate who wishes to become a sales tax officer has to appear for the exam conducted by Staff Selection Commission every year and the exam is SSC CGL.

The minimum educational qualification required to appear in this examination is graduation in any discipline from a recognised Institute or university and the minimum age is 18 years and maximum is 27 years.
Relaxation in upper age limit is provided to reserved category students i.e. 5 years to SC/ST students and 3 years to OBC students.

You have to appear in the SSC CGL or UPSC examination to get a job as sales tax officer.

After successfully completing your graduation degree, you will have to appear in the Staff Selection Commission – Combined Graduate Level or SSC CGL Exam and you have to crack the exam to get selected for the post of Sales Tax Officer.

You will have to qualify the following stages of the selection process to get selected for this post.

1. Preliminary Examination:- You will have to clear the Preliminary Examination to qualify for the next round of the selection process.

2. Main Examination:- After clearing the Preliminary Examination, you have to get appear for Main Examination.

3. Personal interview:- After clearing the Main Examination, you have to get appear for a Personal interview. You have to crack this interview for the final selection.
