Recruitment for the various posts in Andhra Pradesh Police is carried out by Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission.
The eligibility criteria required to apply for police job in Andhra Pradesh are as under :- -The candidate should have passed Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university . -A candidate belonging to the SC/ST category needs to have passed Intermediate or equivalent qualification recognized by the State Government and should have studied Degree. -The candidate age limit to apply for the post should be from 21 years to 25 years .The upper age limit is relaxed as per Governments Rules. Physical requirements : Height : Must not be less than 167.6 cms. Chest: Must not be less than 86.3 cms with a minimum expansion of 5 cms. Eye Sight : Distant vision - 6/6 in both eyes . Near vision - 0/5 in both eyes . The selection procedure involves of Written Exam, Physical and Medical Test, and Interview . |

2. Final year students can also apply. 3. Applicant’s Age should be 20 to 25 year 4. Height should be minimum 167.6 cms. 5. Written exam foolwed by physical then medical and finally interview. |

Minimum Age limit : 18 years Maximum Age limit: 30 years Age Relaxation : ST/SC : 21 -35 years , OBC : 21 - 33 years, PWD/Ex Service : 21 - 40 yrs Education Qualification : Candidate must have hold a Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university with 50% marks aggregate. The selection process of Sub inspector of police conducted by public service commission.In these minimum graduates are allowed.
Eligibility for SI exam: You should have Indian citizenship. Age Limit- You age should be between 20 to 25 years on the day of examination. Age Relaxation- There is an age relaxation of - 3 years for OBC reserved category candidates. 5 years for SC/ST reserved category candidates. 5 years for candidates who have achieved distinction in sports. Education Qualification- You should have a bachelors degree in any discipline from a recognized university. There is no percentage cut-off as such. Physical Standards- minimum height needed-170cms chest size should be 81cms before expansion and minimum 85cms after full expansion. |

hiii,
as i know that you are a b.tech student and you want to yo join police basically Andhra police. yes, you can enter police force after graduation. You can apply for the Civil services exam – IPS exam. You need to be a minimum graduate from a recognized university with atleast 60% marks for applying for this post. You should be not less than 21 year of age. You need to attend the written examination as part of this. If you qualify in the main exam you need to attend the preliminary exam. If qualified in both the parts you can attend the personal interview.
