Respected sir/madam, i had passed diploma in cse after 10th with 65% marks. I am interested to do defence service. Please tell me how can i fulfill my dream to get in defence service?

There are various ways through which you can get into Defence service after completion of Diploma . some of the entrance are given below after clearing these exam you can get into Defence services.
* Combined Defence services examination.
* National Defence service examination.
* Air force common admission test.
* Indian navy entrance test.
* Short service commission technical.

To join the defense services after completing a diploma in Computer Science Engineering (CSE), you can apply for the Technical Entry Scheme (TES) or Short Service Commission (SSC) in the Indian Army, Indian Navy, or Indian Air Force. These are the general steps involved:-

1. Check eligibility: Ensure that you meet the eligibility criteria set by the respective defense service. This includes age limits, educational qualifications, and physical fitness requirements.

2. Apply online: Visit the official website of the defense service you wish to join and look for the recruitment section. Fill out the online application form with accurate information and submit it within the specified deadline.

3. Written examination: Prepare for the written examination, which generally tests your knowledge in subjects like General Knowledge, English, Mathematics, and CSE-related topics. The exam pattern and syllabus may vary depending on the defense service and the specific entry scheme.

4. Physical fitness tests: Once you pass the written examination, you will undergo a series of physical fitness tests, including measurements of height, weight, endurance tests, and medical examinations. It is essential to maintain a good level of physical fitness to meet the requirements.

5. Personal interview: If you clear the physical fitness tests, you will be called for a personal interview. Prepare for the interview by studying about defense-related matters, current affairs, and displaying your passion and commitment to serving in the defense forces.

6. Merit list and final selection: Based on your performance in the written examination, physical tests, and interview, a merit list will be prepared. Procedure to get defence service after completing a diploma in Computer Science and Engineering:-

1. Combined Defense Services (CDS) Examination: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts the CDS examination twice a year. You can apply for the CDS examination and choose the Indian Army, Indian Navy, or Indian Air Force .

2. Technical Entry Scheme (TES): The Indian Army offers the Technical Entry Scheme for candidates who have completed their 10+2 education with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

3. Short Service Commission (SSC): The Short Service Commission is another entry option for diploma holders in CSE. The Indian Army, Indian Navy, and Indian Air Force have their respective recruitment processes for SSC.

4. Indian Coast Guard: The Indian Coast Guard recruits diploma holders for technical positions. They conduct separate recruitment exams for candidates with a diploma in CSE.

5. Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO): DRDO, the premier defense research organization in India, recruits diploma holders in CSE for various technical positions.

You will become eligible to join the defence service after qualifying in CDS examination conducted by the UPSC.

The eligibility to apply for the examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university. The age limit varies with different services.

Applicants who have completed their graduation and are between 19 to 24 years of age can apply to Indian Army. Selection for Indian Military Academy (IMA) is done through Combined Defense Service (CDS) Exam followed by SSB Interview.
