I am persuing my Diploma final(III) year in computer science Engineering (CSE) in Govt. polytechnic college, Masabtank, Hyderabad.
Can we do M.Sc in Computer science after Completing my Diploma?

My friend you can not apply for a post graduation course after diploma. M.Sc is a post graduation course while you are doing diploma in engineering. If you want to do post graduation, you will first have to complete your graduation.

Diploma is not considered equal to graduation. That completely rules out the possibility of doing M.Sc in Computer Science. You must first complete a graduation degree.

The most obvious choice would be Bachelor of Technology course. After completing diploma you must pursue B.Tech. Since you have done diploma in computer science, choose the same stream when applying for the B.Tech.

However please beware that you are not suppose to appear for entrance exams mentioned below for admission in B.Tech.

BITSAT

UPSEE

AIEEE

ISEET

These exams are for candidates who have completed 12th, not diploma candidates. You must appear for the entrance exam known as Lateral Entry Engineering Test (LEET). You can appear for LEET if scored 50 percent or more marks in diploma in engineering.

The LEET entrance exam is accepted by various engineering colleges across the country. But not all colleges accept it. Some may offer you direct admission either on merit or may ask you to appear for their own written test for lateral entry.

After completing B.Tech you can pursue post graduation course. However I will not recommend M.Sc, instead you should apply for M.Tech in Computer Science.

No you are not allowed directly because M.Sc is a post graduation degree which is carried after graduation only & this diploma is equivalent to 12th only
