I have completed diploma in civil engg.from the institution of civil engineers india (ludhiyana)
So,I wont to try job in government sections...so,what should I do first...& I won't a details about that government job like CPWD

plz...give mi some information about the government job for diplola in civil engg.

There are numerous job opportunities after completing diploma in civil engineering. There are many job opportunities in Government Public Sector Unit and Public sector undertakings for diploma holders.

You can apply in Indian Railways, Roadways, Airways and many government companies like HPCL, Airport Authority of India, IIT institutions, ECIL, BPCL, BHEL, BEL, NTPC, Coal India.

Also there are PSUs like ONGC, Power Grid, Railtel, NMDC, RITES, UCI, NACL, NLC, SAIL, NTPC, IOCL etc in which you can apply for the post of trainee.

You can also opt for jobs in government institution for the post of lab assistant etc.

In Indian railways you can apply for the post of Junior Engineer, Technician, Railway apprentice, Loco pilot etc.

You can also apply for NDA exam to join Indian Army for the post of Officer.

The best job suitable for you is Junior Engineer in CPWD. CPWD stands for Central Public Works Department. Staff Selection Commission is responsible for the recruitment of Junior Engineer in Central Public Works Department.

Eligibility Criteria for CPWD :

Educational Qualification : Candidate must have diploma in civil engineering from recognised institution.

Age limit : Age of candidate must be from 18 to 27 years. Age relaxation is also provided as per government norms. Relaxation in upper age limit is provided to reserved category as follows :
For SC/ST candidates : 5 years
For OBC candidates : 3 years

Examination procedure :

• Written Examination
• Interview.

Candidates who are shortlisted in written exam will be called for Interview round.

After completing your diploma in civil, Technical job positions will be available in Public Sector Units
You can also try for the clerical postions in Banks.
In Railways, you can apply for Loco pilot,Junior Engineer, Technician,Railway apprentice, etc.
and you can also try in Defense Services, Police services,income tax,etc.

After completion of Diploma in Civil Engineering , you are eligible to apply for different posts in Government sector.

You have completed a diploma in Civil Engineering after your intermediate studies and diploma in Civil Engineering is required in various government departments and fields related to technical department and non technical as well.

You can apply for SSC Junior Engineer examination for the post of Junior Engineer Civil Grade because this examination is conducted every year and you can easily secure a good job of Junior Engineer through this examination.

You just have to qualify written examination and Interview Process then you will get government job.

If you are not willing then you are also eligible for Madhya Pradesh - Revenue Inspector Examination because Diploma in Civil is required to be eligible for the post of RI in Madhya Pradesh so you should try for that and competition will be lower in that state.

if I got 70% in diploma civil engineering what could be the salary in government sector?

Sir, what should be the minimum percentage required for diploma in civil engineering to get government job..??

Sir i have a Part time diploma in civil engineering will it be helpful for all the above listed exams ?? or not please reply
