You can join Indian Army after passing 10th standard but you have to score 40% to 45% marks.

Selection Procedure:-

Physical Fitness Test
Written Exam and Medical Test conducted by the Indian Army.

You can apply for two post on this basis of 10th standard Soldier Tradesman and General Duties.

How to join Indian Army after passing 10th? What is the criteria to join Indian Army?

1. For the post of Soldier GD, the candidate should have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 33% marks or equivalent.

2. For the post of Soldier Technical, the candidate should have passed 10+2 with Science background (PCM), with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent.

After passing class 10th if you have an NSS certificate (optional) you can join Army as a soldier then with training and internal examinations you can move to a higher rank. The most respected position in the Army is the Officer post and one can join after they graduate with a minimum score of 50% marks from a recognized university. After your class 12th, you can join NDA and simultaneously get training and join Army as an Officer through internal placements.

On the basis of Class 10th education, you can join only as a Soldier (General Duty) in Indian Army and that too if you are an unmarried Indian Male candidate with your age lying within 17.5 years to 21 years.

Further, on the basis of your Class 12th education, you can join Indian Army as a Soldier in different categories as well as as an commissioned officer through NDA (National Defense Academy) Examination.
