To become Income Tax inspector, you have to appear and qualify in SSC CGL examination.

The required minimum educational qualification is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognised university.

The examination is conducted in three stages and have to qualify in all three stages for final selection.

To become an Income Tax Department a candidate must have passed a bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognized university. A candidate's age limit should not exceed 30 years of age and there would be age relaxation for OBC/SC/ST candidates. You can apply through the SSC CGL examination (Staff Selection Commission conducts the Combined Graduate Level exam).

Those who wish to become ITO after 12th they must complete an UG degree and then qualify SSC CGL exam or UPSC exam for Indian Revenue Services.

To become a income tax officer, first you can crack the exam which is conducted by Staff Selection Commission ( SSC) once in a year.

Nationality:
Candidate must be citizen of India.

Education Qualification:
