Can I apply for IIT-JAM(Geology/Geophysics) if having Physics in 3rd & 4th semesters of B.Sc(Geology)? Books for preparation of this exam? Which one has better scope between Geology and Geophysics?
I am a first year student doing B.sc in geology i want to prepare myself for iit jam in order to sit for geology and geophysics..
(A)According to our syllabus i have allied chemistry for first two semester and physics for 3rd and 4th semester . So my question is will i be eligible to to sit for iit jam for geophysics ? If yes what types of books i should follow for geology and for geophysics (physics portion)....? (B)And for future research project and also job aspects which is better , geology or geophysics..? |

After cracking gate in Petroleum Engineering, shall i be eligible to pursue m.tech in geophysics in IITs?

I'm a bsc geology student can I do msc and PhD in geophysics?
