NDA i.e National Defence Academy Examination is conducted by UPSC twice in a year as namely NDA I and NDA II.
Eligibility Criteria: An applicant should have completed intermediate in any discipline from a recognized school or equivalent qualification. An applicant must have attained the age of 16.5 years and must not have attained the age of 19 years. Unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply. Female candidates are ineligible to apply. Minimum Heights: Army Wings & Navy wings: 157.5 cms (162.5 cms for Indian Air Force) |

NDA Height and Weight required for Indian Air Force/ Indian Army: * 152 (Height in Cm) - 42.5 Kg (for 16-17 years) - 44 Kg (for 17-18 years) - 45 Kg (18-19 years) * 155 (Height in Cm) - 43.5 Kg (for 16-17 years) - 45.3 Kg (for 17-18 years) - 47 Kg (18-19 years) * 157 (Height in Cm) - 45 Kg (for 16-17 years) - 47 Kg (for 17-18 years) - 48 Kg (18-19 years) * 160 (Height in Cm) - 46.5 Kg (for 16-17 years) - 48 Kg (for 17-18 years) - 49 Kg (18-19 years) * 162 (Height in Cm) - 48 Kg (for 16-17 years) - 50 Kg (for 17-18 years) - 51 Kg (18-19 years) * 165 (Height in Cm) - 50 Kg (for 16-17 years) - 52 Kg (for 17-18 years) - 53 Kg (18-19 years) <> Minimum Height Required - 157 cms <> Weight must be correlated to Height <> Chest - 80 cms and Chest Expansion upto 5 cms |

The minimum height required to appear in NDA examination is 152 cms and the minimum weight required to appear in NDA examination is 42.5 to 45 kgs according to age criteria from 16 to 19 years. The NDA examination is connecte by UPSC twice a year for candidates who have are interested to join in Indian Air Force/Navy/Army. Candidates who have completed 12th standard from a recognised board are eligible to appear in NDA examination

NDA stands for National Defence Service exam. NDA Examination is conducted for 3 wings-Indian Air Force, Indian Navy and Indian Army.
Candidates who have completed the 12th standard from a recognized board or equivalent exam are eligible for NDA exam. Final year of 12th standard candidate are eligible for NDA exam. Your age should be in between to 16.5 years to 19.5 years. There is no age relaxation for SC/ST candidates. I have attached a document where you can find out the physical criteria for NDA exam. If you have fulfill mentioned physical criteria then you are eligible for NDA exam. |
