I have completed my B.Com. l want to join Indian Navy. Can you please tell me all the recruitment in Indian Navy for B.Com passed students?

To join in Indian Navy, you need to crack the CDS examination. CDS i.e Combined Defence Service Examination is conducted by UPSC twice in a year for admission to Military Academy, Naval Academy, Air Force Academy and Officer Training Academy.

Naval Academy Eligibility: The candidate should have completed B.Sc Physics or Mathematics or B.E from a recognized university or equivalent qualification. Final year of degree course may also apply. The candidate must have attained the age of 19 years and must not have attained the age of 22 years. No upper age limits are applicable for reserved categories.

Without having Physics or Mathematics at graduate level. You are not eligible to apply for Indian Navy. But, you are eligible to apply for Military Academy.

You have completed B.Com course so you are not eligible for Indian Navy but you can apply for Indian Army through CDS exam.

CDS stands for Combined Defence Service exam.

Eligibility criteria:-

Indian naval academy: You should have completed engineering graduation or B.Sc with physics, mathematics subjects from a recognized university.

Indian Air force academy: You should have completed engineering graduation or B.Sc with physics, mathematics from a recognized university.

Indian Military academy: You should have completed graduation in any stream from a recognized university.

Officers Training Academy: You should have completed graduation in any stream from a recognized university.

Age Criteria:-

Indian Military Academy: - 19-24 years
Air Force Academy: - 19-23 years
Naval Academy: - 19-22 years
Officer's Training Academy: - 19-25 years

Here Some Jobs are eligible for you
Indian Air Force-Ground Duty Branch.

Age limit-20 to 23 years-for graduates
20 to 25 years-for post graduates.

Nationality-Indian

Gender-Both men and Women.

Ground duty Branch have five sub branches.
1)Administration Branch
Qualification-Graduation from any stream with 60% marks.
OR ELSE
Post Graduate in any discipline with 50% marks.

2)Accounts Branch
Qualification-Graduate in B.COM with 60%.
OR ELSE
Post graduate M.COM/ICWA/CA with 50%.

3)Logistics Branch
Qualification-Graduation in any stream with 60% marks
OR ELSE
Post graduate in any stream with 50% marks.

4)Educational Branch
Qualification-Post Graduate degree in any stream with 50% marks.

5)Meteorology Branch
Qualification-Post graduate degree in math/statics/environmental science/computer science/environmental biology with 50% marks and must have studied maths and physics with 50% marks in each subject.

Mode of entry in ground duty branch(Air Force) is only one
AFCAT-Air Force Common Admission Test.
AFCAT conducted twice in a year, in the month of August and February.
Notifications are released in the month of June and December.

There are two Entrance Exams through which you can join Indian Navy.

♦ National Defence Academy Entrance Examination
♦ Combined Defence Service Examination
But through Commerce you can eligible for CDS exam
Eligibility Criteria for Combined Defence Service Examination :

• To join Indian navy, You should have Passed Bachelor degree course in Engineering or B.sc Course with Physics and Maths as a compulsory Subjects.

• There is no restriction on percentage of bachelor course.

• Your Age should be in between 19 to 22 years.

• You should be a citizen of India.

To join Indian Navy you have to pass one of this exams:

• National Defence Academy Entrance Examination
• Combined Defence Service Examination

Combined DefenceAge limit-20 to 23 years-for graduates
20 to 25 years-for post graduates.
