Dear Sir/Madam, I would like to know about the procedure of selection for the post of Project Mechanical Assistant in Cochin Shipyard. Can anyone of you kindly let me know about the selection procedure? Waiting for your response!

Selection Procedure of Cochin Shipyard Project Mechanical Assistant recruitment will be based on Objective type Online Test which shall be conducted out of 100 marks and marks awarded accordingly.

The Objective Type Online test shall be tentatively scheduled in October 2019.

The Objective type Online test shall be of 90 Minutes duration comprising of 100
Multiple Choice Questions in the following areas. Each question carries one mark and
there shall be no negative marks:-

General Knowledge - 10 marks.

General English - 10 marks.

Reasoning - 10 marks.

Quantitative Aptitude - 10 marks.

Discipline related - 60 marks.

The selection procedure of mechanical assistant in cochin shipyard project recruitment, will be done on the basis of an online written examination which will be of objective types (100 marks). Then the candidates get shortlisted will have to appear for round of group discussion. Candidates will then have to appear for written skills examination. The final selection all the candidates will depend on their performance in the personal interview.
