The IB is used to garner intelligence from within India and also execute counter intelligence and counter terrorism tasks.

They are required to carry out a lot of intelligence collection.
They need to carry out coordination at ground level for intelligence collection.

Eligibility
Must have Masters degree in computer application
MSc degree in space engineering/biotech/chemistry
MSc degree in physics with wireless/electronic/
Optics/nuclear physics etc

They are required to pay rs 25 only either by remitting the money in any branch of SBI by cash or by net banking .
No fee for sc/st women candidates of any community.

Roles and Responsibilities

Deputy Central Intelligence Officer is considered as a reputed official in Intelligence Bureau under Ministry of Home Affairs. These officials are mainly concerned with the operation and maintenance of cyber security and cyber forensics equipment. It is their duty to supervise and maintain the communication network.

Eligibility:

Master's degree in Computer Applications.
M.Sc degree in Space Engineering and Rocketry /Bio-Technology/Chemistry.
